The Challenge

In 2013, C&W retail services were appointed by Hard Rock Café – Asia Pacific to carry a full review & selection of the potential franchisee to win a master franchise for Cambodia (covering Siem Riep and Phnom Penh City).

At the time of appointment, C&W has no representative or liaison office in Cambodia. However, C&W has carried on with the team’s associated professional skills of searching and scanning market and potential candidates.

The Solution

C&W carried out a full initial desktop to a shortlist candidates, then conducted fact finding visits to Phnom Penh and meeting in person with candidates to evaluate their business and financial capability against a variety of key criteria requested by Hard Rock Café Principal.

The Results

After 6 months, C&W retail team has successfully completed the selection of shortlisted candidates and helped. Hard Rock Café to tight up with an appropriate partner for a new market as Cambodia (A respected firm in F&B operation & investment).

The first signature Hard Rock Café is opening in Siem Riep in October 2014.
