Thang Long JOC and their partner, Talisman Energy, sought to co-locate into new facilities to improve efficiency and save on their overall real estate expenses. Initially, both companies were planning to have their spaces designed and built as one project. However, after further evaluation of needs , timing, and budget differences, the projects were divided into two separate projects delivered independently. C&W was engaged to provide highly professional Project Management and Move Management services for both companies.
Thang Long sought to keep a simple design while enhancing their employees work environment. One goal was to reduce the ratio of offices to open collaborative space. In addition, Thang Long re-used all the modular furniture and relocated it to new office, while needing to purchase some new. Cushman & Wakefield managed this work for a smooth coordination and transition.
Cushman & Wakefield worked very effectively with the Top Management team from Thang Long JOC. Carpet was procured and ordered early to support the schedule.
The project was built in 7 weeks and handed over on schedule, moving the entire office, IT department, and support functions with zero downtime.
The project was under budget with less than +3% variation, primarily from client scope additions during the fit-out.
“Zero-Defects” project initiative set high standards for quality and safety, as HSE was a prime driver.
