On 23rd April 2015 at Nikko Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Hoa Le – Director, Retail Services, Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam was invited to be one of the distinguished speakers of the “Mixed - Use Development. Breathing new life: Harnessing the viability of Mixed – Use development project” organized by Trueventus- the fastest growing Professional Conference and Training Organizer in Asia.
With more than 13 years of professional experience in Retail real estate and currently heading up the Retail team at Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam, covering projects across Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos, Hoa Le shared her vast knowledge in term of “Retail Element in Mixed-Use Projects: Challenges & Opportunities in Retail Concept & Layout”.
Through her presentation, Hoa proved that in recent years, mixed-Use developments with retail element have become a growing trend in emerging markets such as Vietnam and Myanmar. However, far too often, the role of the retail component has been underestimated - thus resulting in low rental rate, high vacancy, and negative impact on the project’s image. As such, optimizing retail layout design and concept can otherwise leverage the project quality and financial ROI.
The conference welcomed more than 50 Director Generals, CEO’s, COO’s, CFO ’s, Real Estate Developers, Property Developers, Property Investors, REIT Advisors, Leasing Directors, Managing Directors, Executive Directors, Operation Directors and key decision makers from the property development, management and investment sectors.
